The charachter map isnt a tool, its actually just a map of all the characters your computer can produce, and the shortcuts to produce them, it lets u select a font and then itll display the characters that font can display. Let us know how you get on, but just know that this isnt a utility to fix your problem, i was merely saying it instead of the above two links of character maps, since this is more dynamic, and readily accessible.
