Ok in this contest, you have til May 31st., to create a 3D shield... like in the medival times. So get started! Oh and if you want to pair up with someone... be my guest!

hey check this out, I love the shield but the sword isnt done, what do you think? Did I win before this competition even gets underway?

Hey, Dirk. Uh if you want more points. i would suggest that you have a medivaly back ground. a war scene, or just a plain field where they practiced. i know a lot about the middle ages (i have studied it while in school) i have pictures of shields that i will be using for judging. ok good luck!

hey thanks alot for the positive feedback guys I thought it was the bomb but i didnt expect you guys to think so, I feel like alot of my stuff isnt as professional as alot of you others, you guys are very good and I just mess around and kind of do it for fun and a creative way to stem the ever present flow of boredom from my life you know. Ok I will add a more medievil background, and yes I too know alot about that, having read about 100 fantasy books as well as study on my own ( WAY TO MUCH D&D as a kid) lol, keep a lookout for another awesome update, thanks again

Ok, so I created a more time fitting background I think, i tried to create a scene that is kind of like, either before or after a major battle, the shields and swords are resting on their racks and there is a stone structure behind that has either just been partially destroyed or is under construction and the mountain behind I just thought was beautiful, let me know what you think.

done, and i should hopefully be able to enter before the end of the compo... if i pull my finger out and do the rest of the models i have lined up on my to do list...

awsome stuff ill try and enter real fast too if i can i got still like 10 days lol..... but i wont have maybe a full scene like dirk..... ill just probably make the sheild.... i have a good idea for one too ^.^
