1. Corel Photopaint for graphics (Corel)
2. Macromedia Dreamweaver for layout design (Macromedia)
3. AllWebMenus for nice dropdowns (Likno)
4. Swift3D for all my vector 3D artwork (Electric Rain)
5. Textpad for coding! (Free Download)
As the obvious runner up - Macromedia Flash for my flash stuff (Which I haven't done in quite awhile) (Macromedia)

2) Dreamweaver MX - Developing a rough layout of tables and other time consuming tasks
3) WS_FTP - FTP Program
4) Apache / PHP / MySQL - Preview my sites on localhost
5) NoteTab Pro - Code my sites
6) OPTIONAL: WinAMP - Got to have music!

I honestly have never seen a visual GUI type program like Likno to make drop downs... it's truly an ingenious application.Hi Fak. Hrmm, I seem to have asked a similar question way back when....
So where can I get a freeware reasonable facsimile program like AllWebMenus?? I need a kool drop down menu program.

I hate very graphical layouts most of the time (they may look awsome to me but i dont like sites that use em i liek simple html/css layouts). Also i hate wysiwyg editors so notepad is my life.

I received an email from a long time friend that suggested an interesting thread I though I'd get started. What do you feel are the top 5 software tools you need to design a website? Here's mine:
