Glowin mats through trasperant mat objs

how come a object with a glowing material doesnt show that its glowing through a transperant object as in transperant material.

What program are you using? And also, is your material truely transparent or did you just turn the color slider down some and the transparency of the material up? To get things to be truly transparent (as far as materials go) is to use an alpha channel texture. This will allow any effects in the background of the object to come through. Hope this helps

im using cinema 4d im so confused i has these material prefs checked color specular and transperant now try to explain when rendering u can see the obeject through the material just not the glow

Illl provide a render later sorry for the garbage before i was in a rush. What you said about the alpha is confusing itll make better sense after i show u what i mean

nvm guid i got it working i turned the color slider down and it worked thank again merry christmas too.
