What type of music do you listen to? Whats your favourite genre(s) and why?

Used to be only rock/metal back in the day.

Now i listen to about 1/2 rock 1/2 country.

The remainder of what i listen to is mostly classic rock...CCR, etc in the morning.

*why?
umm...i'd have to say i listen to country, because as ive gotten older, life speeds up so much, country is a nice balance to that. Typically the words tell a descriptive distinct story, that i just dont see in most popular music.
i like the hard rock because it just kinda goes with my personality. The music just moves your soul, you know, cant always explain it.
The classic rock ive always liked, but only hear it now some in the mornings while i listen to the Walton and Johnson show.

I like any music EXCEPT for country and anything related to country. I hate country so much because i live in wyoming and i hear nothing but cowboy songs and they are just plain gay with their tight pants.... moving from nevada to wyoming is pretty hard.... f#@@ing cowboys

I mainly listen to rap music, BUT none of this commercial hip hop, like 50 cent, ja rule, nelly etc

More of the old school and underground parts, some of my fav emcees being: nas, talib kweli, common, mos def...

I also like r & b, although i've gone off it a lil bit lately, but its something to either dance to at clubs, or chill to...

I am Affraid your current list of Fav M.Cs are becoming more commercillised

I love R+B , Hip Hop, Dance, Rock, anything really as soon as i hear a tune i cant help but dance to or sing along to it makes me feel good lol

Rock sucks hehe jokes, some rock is good, mainly in small doses.

I like Trance music, because i find the beat really relaxes me and it can send me to sleep!
