In an effort to try and get caught up on approvals, I am spending a HUGE chunk of today doing nothing but approving tutorials, so that means there will be a new tutorial on the front page every 30 minutes all day today and the entire weekend! There's a TON of variety in this round so be sure to check that frontpage listing often so you don't miss anything!

I'll follow up at the end of the day to let you know how much I caught up.. I am starting at 11 days behind and I am now at 8.. .been approving tutorials for 2 and a half hours so far :)

Enjoy!
Dan

I have been playing the flute for 6 years now and I love it, and I am playing the pipe organ as well. I also like to teach other people the in and outs of software such as the CS3 suite from Adobe.

I would never go less than 2 or 3 days... it gives ppl a bit of time to work out kinks such as screwed up images and such. I get tons of tutorials that are dead links by the time I approve them.

Talking of which, I submitted a tutorial yesterday on semantic/valid css vertical navigation but for some stupid reason wrote horizontal navigation in the title.. would this be picked up on and changed or will I have to send in an email if it is approved?

I get about 100 - 300 a day.

Jem - I'll try to keep an eye out for it and change it myself :)

I personally think this was a bad idea. I had some tutorials submitted, and because of your rush to get back on track. I don't feel the tutorials got the attention they deserved. I think that had you stayed behind, each tutorial would have gotten twice as many hits. By rushing through, Plenty of good tutorials got missed, and skipped over.

If they are great tuts people will find them when searching, they all sit on the index for around 10hrs I think it is from memory.

All tutorials have a minimum of 10 hours on the main page, no matter how many tutorials I approve... some stay on longer than others, but 10 hours is all I can guarantee on any given day. No worries, your tutorials will continue to bring you hits for the weeks and months to come.
