Im making icons for forums with a new mod I installed but im having trouble with the gifs:

http://www.programme.../giftrouble.jpg

it has white around it. I do not know how to fix this and I have two forum templates, one is dark blue, and one is white so it will work for the white one, but the dark blue one will have that ugly white outline for it. Anybody have any ideas?

erm.. well basically it's a problem on how you save your gif..
I will see if I can remember it

GIFs (.gif - the main web image format) are indexed colour, but you should always create the image in RGB mode (don't worry about what these mean). This avoids the "jagging" that we all hate, and you end up with nice, non jagged GIFs on export. If you only have a GIF to start with, but need to resize and play with it generally, then change it to RGB mode first.
