Okay, before I get too far into this project I think it deserves a little critique.

I'm working on a site that will be much like a PureVolume (creative right??) just for CT bands. It's an attempt to greater build a music scene in the Connecticut area.

Anyways, not sure if I want to really launch it or not. Give me some feedback on the layout and the general idea of the site. If you believe it could be a hit or not, and if the layout would help it be successful!

Demo page:
Our CT Music

This site will be a fusion of 2.0 style, generally simple PHP, and some AJAX to top it off.

I really look foward to comments on this, please don't hold back!

Awesome start mate. I would reccomend to just changing the background of the page to something a little less simplistic. ;)

it has MASSIVE potential, and it is very nice and clean looking. There is just something missing that I can't point out.

It has potensial, but still a lot needs to be done.
Add a glossy effect to the navigationbuttons (right below your header), make the rounded corners a a bit smoother and try playing around with some smooth gradients. Dunno if you understand, but in my head itīs looking real nice ;)

maybe you need some gradient at the colors
and a more "photoshoped" image at the header
the rest is perfect man, keep it

Thank you all!

I am taking all of your comments into consideration because I feel they are all great ideas (especially the background comment).

This site has a lot more to be developed, sadly it will probably be over a year until I launch it but I will let anyone know of the progress if they are interested.

Looks good, maybe make the background not just gray (different shades) and white.
