I've tried searching for this solution on the site but can't find it. Is it possilbe to to either save a webpage and open it to edit within photoshop or import a webpage to photoshop? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a saved copy of the website in html on my laptop where I did my work. I have all the graphic files for the site on my external hard drive. It's a hard drive I've had for 5 years but now the drive spins but my laptop can read it anymore. I've had checked out and it's damaged. I don't want to pay over 1K to retrieve the information along with files for the site I built nor do I really want to sit down and do the site ALL OVER AGAIN. I was just wondering if there was a way I could cut out some of the work. I am just looking for help from fellow designers as I am pretty new at this. It was simply an honest question grounded in the fact that I'm not at expert at this stuff yet.

heh ok then, sorry, didnt mean any harm, I dont really know if there is a set way to import it into photoshop.. I think you would have to capture one thing at a time and resave, or save site as or snatch the code... You'd basically have to rip your own site, and I dont have any experience doing that, but you should be able to with little trouble I'm guessing

None taken thanks ;) I've starting "riping" my site but alas it doesn't look good at all so I guess I have to just bite the bullet and do everthing all over again :( Either way thanks for the advice.

theres no way to import it, but what you can do print screen, plaster it on a background of a new image, and re-create it the layout with ease ;)
