It's almost done, I just need to make the flash header display at the top, edit the table backgrounds, re align the content tables, and add the content.

Personally, I don't like the design because of personal preference, anyway. But, as for actual reasons of it not being too swell..
The text in the header is pretty blurry and grunge in the background of it doesn't really go with the font.
The template doesn't have an even amount of space on the sides, but that's just an easy fix. It's a little better in IE but still lopsided.
Not much of it really matches any other aspects of it.
The tech-like appearance just gets old after seeing too many times. (That's the personal preference part of it.)
Why is there a big gap at the top and another big grey bar at the bottom?
With a few tidy-ups it would be much better.

what wolfe said is right
also, too many space wasted, your page couldn't have scrolling by the size of the images you used.
some images have low saturation and they seem to be without anti-alisaed
the design is pretty strange
also, I do not recomend the use of images as tables/divs/frames, they aren't redimensionable and take a huge time to load

3/10. Too "noobish" design.
The flash menu is kind of cool I guess, but I'd never guess it was a meny - I just hovered them accidentally, and WHOA, it's a meny! If you want your users to really browse your site, a clearly visible navigation is a must, how would you like to enter a site and having to look everywhere on the site for the navigation? I'd give up after only a few seconds.

- not very professional/stlyish.. tech layouts are not really in this days.
- Fonts have been misused a bit
- Login/Register Buttons not working? then for the sake of usability remove them
- 2 mail adresses at the bottom? Not very good...
- Graphics / Flashes getting a 404 error

Well, I guess I was somewhat winging it.
The blurry header was supposed to be in the background...and I was going to make it more knowable that the header was a flash banner actually, but not too noticable.
I have absolutely no idea why my site is all messed up with alignment right now, I was planning on figuring that out over the weekend. But yea, after I put up a DOCTYPE and validated some of been aligned it, that's what happened. I have no clue what went wrong. I anyone could help, I'd be very thankful. It would've in both IE and Mozilla if I didn't go to w3, ironically. lol
As for the grunge background, I thought it was too different than my actual site too. But I wanted to have some feedback before I changed it. BTW, the text in the bg of the flash header was supposed to be blurry, I didn't really want it to be too strong, cause it was for the background.
And for a "noob" site, i think it's pretty good.
No?
You dont? *Sigh* Atleast I attempted.
I'm eventually going to create an all flash site along side this one, html being the side site, like some sites have.
Indigo, the flash swf thing I planned on making it a little "tidbit", i guess you could say. The real navigation was going to be on the left panel actually. But I didn't get to that yet.
I like the side panels being uneven. I wanted to give emphasis to the left side, if that makes any sense. That's something I'm not willing to change.
As for the side panels "poor quality, I have very little idea what you're talking about. Sry!
Thank you all for your constructive criticism and I'll make my next site more p2l forum worthy!
Oh yah, to above post, links are not active yet. I'm terribly sorry!

This template is very much in the style that was around in 2003/2004, when graphics were everything and accessibility suffered. At the moment, simplicity is best.
- The little green flash navigation looks cool enough, but nothing particularly brilliant. There are a lot of very talented 3D flash designers out there competing with you.
- The colour scheme is not particularly attractive.
- When you get around to creating a full layout for this, I think you will struggle to style text to fit in with this layout.
Best of luck.

To say it's broken in Safari would be a huge understatement. I've never seen a site not work that much in my life.
