Ok, so I have LightWave... I can't get my hands on bryce or, cinema, or maya. I might be able too but this is not what this request is about.
I don't see a lot of LightWave tutorials on the net, even when I do, they're all about modeling stuff.
I've seen the Cinema and Bryce abstracts, but i'm looking to do one of these in lightwave. I know it has something to do with the hypervoxel generator but I've never really touched it at all.

I know how to add in all the after effects after rendering.... Just need to know how to model something that is really abstract...

I was also wondering whether lighwave if the best for abstracts, if i'm looking at doing more abstract type stuff should I be using Bryce or 3D studio Max

Ok more for you. lightwave is my favorite 3d app i use it more than any other software i have. But if all you have is lightwave dont get into abstract. It is the worst app for it. Go and purchase maybe a student edition of 3d studio max if you are short on cash it will be much cheaper than a full. If you want to do characters or real things then hey lightwave all the way. But abstracts dont even bother because you can never...... well i shouldnt say never cause you can but it will take a ton more skill and time than if you did it with max or C4D. hope this helped ya
