Having a discussion with NG about an issue we're having and someone suggested I remove a CSS float. Here's how I clarify my CSS knowledge to him:

Quote

to me, a float is a glass of coke with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in it

Be afraid... be very afraid... :)

Noooo a float is something you pop around your tummy to stop you drowning.

So is NG going swimming in Niagara? :)

Well that too, <_< and a hollow ball that floats at the end of a lever in your toilet cistern and if he keeps saying: so you're like Dan using IE? I'm going to flush him. :)

Sometimes, you just wonder if Dan is actually reading the CSS tutorials before approving them...

:)

And so at last the beast fell and the unbelievers rejoiced.
But all was not lost, for from the ash rose a great bird.
The bird gazed down upon the unbelievers and cast fire
and thunder upon them. For the beast had been
reborn with its strength renewed, and the
followers of Mammon cowered in horror.
