Hi all,
Need some help animating my globe...
I created an animated globe animation using motion tween...it works fine EXCEPT the when I choose Motion Tween > CW or CCW it does not look like a globe should rotate. I want it to rotate left to right and not like a wheel (as it does with CCW or CW).

Any clues on how to make my globe rotota like the earth does and not like a wheel

HELP! :P

Basically you can't!
Flash isn't a 3d software with a Z-Axis.. but... I've seen some experiments made with flash 8 which are solely done with Actionscript.

I'm not even sure if this tut would help you, I think this is more for basic elements drawn in Flash, even then, it's pretty hard to learn since you need a lot of scripting

One workaround is create a globe with after effects, there is a tutorial on the twodded section of this site, output it as an flv and embed it into your design.

Thanks. I'll check out the links and After Effect tutorial. Yeah, I did not think it would be all this complex 3D stuff. I've seen this done on many sites in their Flash intros.
