Ok, well I am creating a system(in php) which the user can add a buddy, edit, delete, ect... now, the problem is, I want to make it so when the "add buddy" icon (all of them really) will be a popup now I can easily do that but the problem is, after they add the buddy, I want it so that the main page will refresh

so

page one - > (icon pressed) -> popup -> (action) -> (refresh page one)

It's not PHP you would do that with, it's Javascript.

Try examining this and integrating it to what you need:

I knew it was js i just didn't know if it could do it alone..thanks man this is what i need
