Hey,
I have a pretty cheap statistics thing, but thats besides the point.
As you may know, good-tutorials.com uses frames after you click on the link for the tutorial.
The top frame is their ad and banner, the bottom is your link.
Well, the webpage is for example www.good-tutorials.com/photoshop/194873 (thats the tut number)...

My question is if it actually counts as a HIT for the site that's being used.
My first tutorial submitted there got 1000+ hits (mostly unique), in 2 days, but my total hits, counted by the statistics program wasnt even 1000 total visitors..

Is there any way to account for those hits?

Thanks.

As far as I know even pages loaded in a frame count as a hit. Remember though that a term "hit" means an element loaded from a page, so one page my generate 50 hits at once because it is loading images, css, etc. Pageviews is the number of pages viewed only, no images or anything count towards that.

Ok, thats what i mean. Total visitors / Unique visitors.
It just doesnt seem that they're being counted.
I added up all of my hits from good-tutorials (listed on the site).. and i had 7000+

Thats a lot, and im pretty sure it wasnt counted.
