adding sound on-off button

Hey,

next question here, i know how to make a sound loop in my movie, but how can i make a button in the corner that when pressed switches the sound of, when pressed again back on? I cant seem to find a simple tut on how to do this.

depends on how you attached your sound, did you do it with actionscript or on the timeline?

on the timeline. BUt i just want a track to start atuomatically, and user being able to stop it by one press on an icon and on anoter press start it again.

you can't stop sound which has been placed in the timeline.
