Security experts warn of two flaws in IE, and in an unusual twist, one of them can be replicated in Firefox.

News Article

Nice to see firefox users joining in on the fun :P

Not really surprised with the ie part but firefox is usually pretty good but nothing is ever 100% protected!

I am getting sick of the trolling like this un-educated reply, I have never had a bad issue with IE Microsoft always bring out a good update which mask the flaw. Mozilla Firefox is good but IE is just as good so piss off if you can't stop trolling.

Actually DanW, your post looks to be the uneducated one.....

[tiny rant]

By GfxTuts saying he's not really surprised he is merely commenting on the fact that ie bugs are found more or less every couple of weeks, whereas i cant remember the last time a major FF bug was found.

Fact is REGARDLESS of opinions on browsers (e.g. how good they are / features) the truth is, FF bugs are very rare - IE bugs are very common. While M$ do release fixes for the bugs, the fact is they are there in the first place.

And that ends my message....

ps: personal opinion coming.....how can you say IE is just as good? when we are talking about features i mean....

in my opinion: there aren't any browser bugs, there are BAD web-designers

Myoto thats a bit... silly....,

1: We were talking about bugs as in exploits
2: Each browser handles things such as CSS differently, and as someone who always codes to standards i can tell you it doesn't always work 100% especially in IE as they have chosen to make IE ignore certain rules.

If however you use tables, as you have on your site and i gather you do anyway from some of your posts, you are not going to encounter that many problems.

Yes if you have someone who completly ignores every rule in the book, its likely one browser will work, one will not. Its normally FF with the problems as it does not correct bad coding like IE does. (should that not be the coders job? *yes*)

ps. Myoto, not having a go at you, cuz its relevant to your post, but your sites' coding....what the hell??

Fortunately yeah as Trolling is banned on Neowin so you could post about this without the sad-ass Firefox rocks and IE sucks properganda.
