well in cpanel, how do you set up a proper subdomain?

like I make the subdomain.

example;

test.domain.com but instead of browsing the site like that, it just redirects to domain.com/test/

any help? :P

You mgiht have set up a redirect and not a sub-domain. I know that in cPanel, when you make a sub-domain, it adds a folder to your public_html directory with the same name, but it shouldn't redirect. Try a different sub-domain name and see if that works.

Then, make sure you are allowed to have sub-domains or see if your host knows anything.

cpanel always have this issue. I used globat.com hosting and they have pretty nice way of creating subdomain. You just create subdirectory as subdomain.domain.com and thats it. :)
