yep, took about 6 seconds to load on my cable... (ya, thats long!).

anyway, the reason is cause you used way to images-for-text, you should really learn how to code in html yourself, that way you dont have to rely on messy imageready code.

the actual images themself are already low in size so that's not the problem.

I got 512k took me 9 seconds for the last image.

As coolaid said, you are just using imageready slicing which isn't really producing a site. I would look up how to slice and code the layouts yourself (hint: http://slicingguide.com) and investigate more into CSS and imageless layouts.

Or at least less graphical ones.

ouch i took me about 10secs to load, and im on 512kb, what you need to do is convert the white space on your site into blank space, you have alot of pictures that are just white boxes.

Gl with you site, it odes look nice tho

The reason that your website is so slow is becaues its made up of lots and lots of images and code.Remove all images and recode your website again using xhtml and css to get the best results and your end up with a very fast website.

thank you all.

i have one simple questions:
is it better to redesign the site in GoLive CS2? and would it make the site faster?.

Just re-code the whole thing by hand, so much simpler.
I could make that site load in a matter of milliseconds, it's such a small page, but you've overloaded it with useless images and whitespace, as well as spacers (main reason I hate Imageready slicing).

Using GoLive CS2 will not make you website any faster GoLive CS2 is just an website editor. Just redesign your website with less images and css to keep your code clean. Coding by hand is the best way. Css is very good at lowing code size and keeping it clean on your site. Dreamweaver is the best editor out there and works great with css. Master html and css and you will have one great website.
