There is no chance we get to see the area below, that would help making suggestions. It might look fine with a space there, depending on what's below.

ok, I'll show you the whole thing when I get the index page done. My old header and nav version of my site was ideas used by mickm.com..... I liked how my site looked but when I wanted to add affiliates, I wanted to add mickm.com but I didn't want them thinking or saying, "Hey, that looks like my header and nav." So I decided to make changes and that's what you see right there. If you wanna see what I mean, go to My Webpage and see what I mean, then go to Mick M site Anyways, I'll get to work on the index page as soon as I wake up. Night

As The_pro_designer said: looking great! A lot better than your other site!
If you want, you could probably use some simple google ads there, with no frames, borders or anything, just plain white and blue text.

that google ad idea is good but I'm having the worst time trying to get google adsense. I've applied for it twice and they've denied me both times :) So if anyone can help me get one on there, I'll appreciate it A LOT!

I belive any ad (especially google or such text based ads) would suit very well there. Just make it nice implemented into the site!

Or you can put in a welcome box like welcome guest, please click HERE to login or Register ..or somthinglike that and fix it up with your reallinks and such.. Who knows, Wish you well

Whatever you do, don't put ads there. I would suggest only considering ads if your website starts to get the traffic, and until then - settle for a compromise. Gear up the users efficiency, maybe add some breadcrumbs (deriving from hansel and gretel) which are just links like: You are here: Home > Portfolio. etc. It just makes it that more efficient to navigate around your site, and adds some 'life' to that empty space... Look at the empty space left as a design element, giving the users eye room to breathe, as your website is pretty content heavy.

Hope this helps.
