Hello.

I could do with some advice in which the end is me ending up begging (kinda) for a bit of free hosting.

I had a webhost who I thought was good but after countless mySQL errors and other silly flaws my account is suspended 9 days before it should and my inbox spammed with 50+ e-mails saying i'm overdue in one day so I send an e-mail and a support ticket 3 days ago and no reply, he has been online on a forum he goes on yet not answered a PM so what action can I take.

Big thankyou to Donna who gave me temporary hosting I owe her my life as my site can go back online tonight :)

Any and all help will be appreciated.

Dan

I am changing hosts i'm just wondering about other actions such as legalities which I could pursue. Also I will be giving them a bad review on WebHostingTalk.

Not much you can do on your old host except give them a bad name on sitepoint or webhosting forum :)

I would leave; I don't tolerate much crap from webhosts. I pay for a service I expect it to of quality. Or else, what am I paying for?

Look into what Donna suggested. I personally use Ace-Host.net for my website hosting needs and they've been very with me.

I could host you on mine for free, but it would only be a subdomain which you may have a problem with as my domain is stephendaly.co.uk.

As others have said, nothing much you could do except give them a bad name on webhosting forums and such.

As for a new host, I recommend BlueHost, I was with them for the whole of last year (I'm going back to them once I get more $$ into my paypal account), and it was a top notch service, the support I recieved was great (quick response to my tickets and support emails), and I do believe that their hosting package is fantastic. Hope this helps.

I have been with my host for 3-4 months now and i really do recommend them. The only downside is that they do not allow you to stream media files which isn't too bad depending on your website.

The owner is a really nice guy and will help you with any problems ASAP!
