When I first looked over CS3 i had the same problem. You can go Windows->Brush settings (or just 'Brushes' - the problem is that I don't have CS3 :) )

PS. Thanks for comments! Good results as well.

2. Create new document. Width: 350; Height: 125. Background doesn't matter. Set your image in the middle of screen like so:

well ummm how do u move the image into the middle cuz when i open a new document its blank and when i open up the image it goes into another documentt...LOL told u it was dumb!:winner:

When You have opened doc. with image just type Ctrl + A(Select all), then Ctrl + C(Copy).
Switch documents. In the blank one type Ctrl + V(Paste), and that's it! ;)

You should never lower opacity for blending, you could try blending Flower borders using eraser at a low opacity.... Just what i do, and got told to do.

In step 7 creat new layer on top of other layers.

yeah, nice. You could try to use color balancing to make leaves more shiny. Or just set blending mode of this blured layer to overlay :P

For some reason, my steps 4 - 5 looked totally wrong compared to yours, so i just used a simple copy of the image then Gaussian blur(2.0) with lighten mode. But followed the rest of yours exactly. Here's my out come:

Hello Ciumil :angrylooking:

Just want to tell you that it was one amazing tut you made there. Really the first one where I understood everything, but you could tell a bit more which colors you where using ;) Like at the dots, i didnt know if I should take white or some yellowish color. But anyways, great tut, heres my outcome.

Posted Image

This is my 3rd day using Photoshop CS3 and Im quite amazed over my outcome. Thought i needed years of training.

Thanks, keep up the good work and make some more Tuts ;)
