[cold blooded]

This tutorial is brought to you by Cold Blooded Designs..

1. Open a new 475x125 px document.

2. Change the background color to #FFFFFF and the foreground color to #000000 (press D).

3. Fill the background whtie.

4. Do a Filter>Render>Clouds.

5. Repeat step 3 about 3 times.

Your image should look something like this:


6. Now do a Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur (Radius= 3.7px).

7. Now do a Filter>Distort>Ocean Ripple (Ripple Size=9 , Ripple Magnitude=9).

Your image should look something like this:


8. Now do a Filter>Brush Strokes>Accented Edges (Edge Width=2 , Edge Brightness=8 , Smoothness=5).

Your image should look something like this:


9. Now do a Filter>Brush Strokes>Angled Strokes (Direction Balance=36 , Stroke Length=19 , Sharpness=10).

Your image should look something like this:


10. Press CTR+U to colorize your document (Use any Hue and Saturation setting you want, but make sure your Lightness = -42)

11. Add your pictures and text and you have yourself a finished product.
