I'm in the process of launching a web design/development site, and I was wondering how those client login forms that we see in all the big web design sites work. Is it like, a client is able to see how his/her site is progressing? If so, how would you program it? Or is it just a special section for clients with more detailed information? I would really appreciate any help I could get.

Thanks :P

Hello I could help you with the first bit as it's mainly a user registration system minus the user signing up as you can take that out and set it up via an administration panel. You would have to have good knowledge of how to use PHP and implementing it with mySQL Databases.

That is a vast section dedicated on the Pixel2Life database to User Registration scripts and add-ons.

Thats rather a good one if you want to use one of the latest technology fads which being Anchrosyncous Javascript And XML (AJAX) with some cleaning up and editing the code would be really good and useable plus it gives you a nice idea of how to create a self-created one.

Although I would completely re-code most of it, it seems to be rather popular and is very well put together but the only thing it you need to intergrate it within your site, but that is the same with any PHP script you just need some CSS styling.

Hope this gave you an insight into what you need for the basic implementation for the task you want to do.
