the same way you do the face...find the small reflections from the light or slight differences in color and vectorize them so you do not have just 1 flat brown color.

look sweet, i think it looks quite realistic i dont think u should use less colour....just bit more detail in the hair would help i think....good stuff man

edit- also the neck need a bit more lighter skin tones (highlights)

can you post up the image you are making the vector from? would help use tell uyou what colors too bring out... but its nice but yeah hair colo9r is a little plan... you need more colors... the more detailed it is the better it is....keep it up
