Ok, so this is what ive been working on today, it is not finished!!!

i would really like some feedback if possible, what to add, what to move etc.

Just to avoid any angry faces, if you suggest something or say something about it you dont like,i may not take it into consideration lol. I'm very picky about layouts, and even if the world dont like it and i do i will use it. But as ever im open to constructive comments!! even if i dont use yours i have listened to it.

Oh i knew it

TBH I'm not sure about a header....I may tart up the top bit where it says "The giant footer" but every header i make doesnt work.

I get that too, make a layout, like it, get to the header, can't get anything so start again

Maybe just put another dark grey bit up the top, to the left have a logo and title, and then on the right put the search and "rss feeds" "archives and that in the grey. Then move the Item one, two, three, up.?

hmmm, thing is i've become quite fond of the small bar at the top....well, not fond, but it works. If i make it larger, as i have done or add anoter bit, the large footer looks silly.

Hmmm, maybe not all sites need a header? lol. Where it says...

I think your website is almost empty
I would add gradients as cell backgorunds
also, I miss a header, even a pure CSS based without images

there is something missing and I don't know what is it
maybe more color?

Well, its empty because the layout isnt finished lol.

I will take what you say into consideration with the exception of the gradients, you aint gonna find no gradients on any of my layouts lol.

With the colour im trying to stick to a small range, dark on white/ white on dark as you can see, with content will come more colour normally, however i will look into it.

i suggest you to make the header exaclty as you made the footer, that way people won't be asking if the header is a post (actually it looks like one with diferent title) or the header.

just change that

yea, if you wan't a very plain layout, then yours is perfect
I would even risk more contrast in thefont color of "items" at the right side

I think 1,000 is a little over the top but i know what you mean. Its a nice style, i like it, and ihave the imagination of a 3 day old kitten so i went with the trend

Haha Matt, well it is very simple and kind of simlar to most blogs, but I like it. Even so I think it could do with abit more colour here and there it doesn't feel like its got a colour scheme if you know what I mean. (to much whitespace, use more colour to take peoples eyes off white white white)

reminds me of my-tuts, i dont know if this is good or bad. But it does seem simple. but simple can be good. keep working on it and lets see the final outpu

The two tone thing really isnt working to well, unless you faded it, or maybe added more colour to the white section or some images to help blend it. It reminds me of a google adsense with a hint of wiki pedia gone wrong.

Its nice that its simple but its a bit too simple.
