We've just made changes to the tutorial system!

The old method worked like this:

• You submit a tutorial
  
• It goes into a que
  
• We accept
  
• It appears on the site

Which meant that if there was a que of 80 tutorials, only the last 10 of the accepted tutorials would actually get shown on the front page, and all the rest would go straight into their specific categorys.

Now, the new system works like this:

• You submit a tutorial
  
• It goes into a que
  
• We accept it
  
• It goes into the "accepted que"
  
• One tutorial every 30 minutes is brought out of this que
  
• This tutorial is then placed on the front page

This means that you are guaranteed AT LEAST 5 hours on the front page with any tutorial that we accept

This means that people will get alot more hits on their tutorials

Ooo!! This is a great idea! not that it actaully seems to take ages to get added to the site anyway... i liek the idea though pretty ingenious! great job

I think maybe cutting down the 30 minute wait to about 15 - 20 minutes would be better.

There isn't enough submissions to really make that necessary. If we see that submissions start backing up big time, we'll review the wait time.
