Well what I want most from my website is to make a user want to read maybe sign up for a newsletter and enjoy and become active, but too many things deter users and hide information nowadays.

So I would like to participate in a brainstorm in what makes you want to read a page and most importantly remember it, what features are important to you from a site seperated from the needles piles of automation scripts and rubbish that many sites overload on to look big and high-tech, and also the balance between graphic simplicity and getting the word across.

I think many people inncluding myself could learn from this if every person who reads this just says one or more of their dislikes and what should change and what they like., this can include things like the colour scheme beign warm, cold, dark, vibrant .etc

The reasons for this is I'm fed up of not knowing how to get people to be ineterested and not just stare at a layout or have to read 10 pages of writing, but also to not have to read some slang abbreviated nonsense.

I will start it off by saying i like light coloured layouts as they feel less threatenign than dark layouts, i also hate splash pages as they are off the point and unless you have a huge flash site like 2advanced.com which makes you just stare at a layout (thankfully thats what they mostly want you to do), otherwise you have just lost 1 more visitor me.

I will enjoy reading anyones comments and controversial points of view and will try to employ them in the best possible manner in my next site. :o

I prefer light styled layouts as well, Cool colored with baby blue and other colors in that range. I usually will read a page basically as long as its easy to read and no distracting blinking ads, and if it has information im wanting to see or a tool im gonna bookmark to use occasionally?. sorry i dont have more to say that was pretty basic lol
