Hello all, I am having some trouble with forms. In laymens terms how do I make a form that emails me the results or puts them into a file or something? Yeah I know simple question no details, but I am really stuck here and have heard all this about CGI, .asp and all of it I have no idea what it is. ^_^

such as a contact form? .. if that's the deal, there are plenty of contact form tutorials on here to help you ^_^.

Unless your talking about something a whole lot different..

I mean a form like this:

Name: _____________________
Age: __
Whatever:___________________

I know how to make the actual form so it appears on the site, but I don't understand how to get the results to log or email or anything.

This is a frequently asked question, please use the forum search. There are also tons of tutorials on this in the tutorial database. Most of which are in the PHP Code section (try looking for "mail", "contact form", etc...).
