I recently redesigned my blog. My blog serves as a platform to talk about design, digital art, technology, and just about anything else.

The new design was completely custom made, as i was sick to death of seeing wordpress templates around. I hope you like it. Please let me know what you think?

Many thanks,

Mark

I like it for the most part, but you really need to cut down on main page content. Took almost 30 seconds for me to load the whole page and I'm on T1 speed cable. Just maybe make the main page have 1 paragraph snippets of your entries and then have a link to the whole thing.

:)

Thanks seraph!m. I have already cut down the amount of posts on the home page. I have also allowed for only the summarized version on each post of the home page. Hopefully that speeds up the load time.

Please keep the crit coming in.

Yeah very nice, only part that could use some improvement is the navigation but otherwise very well done.

Original ^_^. I really like it. I think with the main navigation rollovers you could add a little something to spice it up. Other than that its really personal and i love that about it. Really feels and looks like your entering Marks home sort of thing.

Thanks Staticeffect, I'll defintely look into that. Never completely tested it in Safari, as don't own a Mac.

Aussiestinger and willsmith727 some valid points about the navigation. I'll have another play around with the menu.

its nice to see someone make a header that is not just a gradient, great work, and when you can make a header like that and still have the rest of the site flow together, thats when you know you are really good. submit this site around and keep writing good articles and you are going to have a very succesful website on your hands in no time!

Thanks Charlie and Willsmith.

Do you have some good links to sites where I could submit the site? I don't know of many.

Ok made some more small CSS changes, according to your crit guys! Still working on a nice rollover effect for the menu. Thanks again for the reviews guys.

Speaking of reviews what do people think of this Pixel2life re-design?

I'm not too sure of it.

It's not bad, I like the use of colors, however, you should have anti-aliased the curves so they appear less pixely. The banner is nice and the apple is amazing. I like it overall as it's simple and clean and easy on the eyes. (For me anyway.)

Love the British Motor Show 2006 pictures. :)
