This is just a reminder to everyone that spamming members using the PM (private message) system is forbidden on these forums and users that are caught doing so are suspended on the spot for 2 weeks for the first infraction. By spam, this means any unsolicited PM for products, asking people to join your site etc. It's extremely annoying and we encourage any member that receives this type of spam to report it to me or any of our admins or moderators for immediate action.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns about this issue or anything else on the site.

Thanks!
Dan

Yeah, there's no way I would join, and I would think it's the same for most, if someone with 0 posts tells me to join a site, good ******* luck. But then if it was someone with more posts and I see it in their sig, I will more then likely click, unless they said something in the post that makes them look retarded of course.

:) Thanks Dan for posting this up we've been getting way too many of late.

Submit some decent tutorials and submit those instead of spamming us :D

Also, you will notice that some of the links have a referal id on them. People spam other sites that have those referal contests so they can win. Since P2L is a big place they figure they'll get a lot of people... Guess not.

Good reminder, I get enough SPAM in my mail inbox everyday... And such advertising of sites through PM is just terrible, or rather desperate...

I hate spammers, I got one of the spam PMs but I saw the person was banned so I didn't bother saying anything.

I agree with Donna, instead of spamming us try and write some good tutorials because if people like that one they might look for other ones on your site, and well then they tell people about it so on and so forth.

If they're asking you t signup anywhere then counts as spam i reckon.
