i understand the effect you are trying to get with the lettering but for a logo it doesnt go well... keep it simple.... just surround the text arround the picture and keep it 2D and it will look much better

Yeah it's a bit confusing looking at the 2d man with 3d text around him. I'd clean up the edges of the man as well.

Maybe if we could see a layout which the logo is going on would be more understandable.. but yeah it is a little pixelated around the edges.. maybe have the text as smoke coming from the pipe
