I think this is an improvment to previous attempts. Of course one seeks perfection.. :)

its a nice attempt and i havent seen the otehr ones befor but my suggestion is maybe too fade out the bottom of the reflection well like the torch part fade it out a bit....

yes and maybe even ripple it a bit as u move down on the reflection

I agree with the others. The reflection wouldn't be perfectly seen in the water since the water is probably moving. Adding a ripple effect to the reflection may help that.

You're on the right tracks my frien.. but work on the water ripple.. fade it out as lilman suggested.. maybe use a 45 px rubber brush on the head of the statue (If you're using Photoshop obviously, or the equvelant in another program) .. but all in all it does look rather good :ph34r: I like it. =]

relection in water is a tricky thing in ps you can try import the image to a simple sceane creator like bryce 5 then place a water drop. that always work when im impatient to work on water effects
