What are the best games to play online or on a LAN?? The games I've played over my LAN are pretty boring......................

Back in the college days it was quake 1 every free second we had. Ah those were the good ole days! Some of the best we had were starcraft (still better than any other RTS), Rainbow 6/Rogue Spear line of games, and quake 1/2/3. An 18 person game of Rogue spear or a 30+ person game of quake 3 cant be beat!

I played Wireless LAN game!!!! It was really fun! I "guess" I live in the richer area around our state. I go to a private school so we all get Laptops! And what I did was hooked my friends up onto my router we managed to play 16 players without any LAG we played Unreal tournament and a 8 player Age of Empire it was really cool. I reccommend if anyone in the world has a Router or LAN or something like that play some LAN games with friends its really funny and enjoyable and it's pretty easy to setup, just some settings you have to tweak like I had to change the Channel of my router to like people play with our 802.11g cards....
