ok, so in dremweaver i go to ->inset->media->flash, and i insert my flash button.... how do i make this button link somewhere, or is there another way to get my flash button as a link in dreamweaver, when im working offline.

This should work.
Click on the flash button and on the bottom menu, you should see "Edit..."
Then you should see link. Just put the url you want in there.

you make it a link in flash.
You can add query strings to the file.swf in the object code that can specify what you want the links to be, but I would do the actually linkage in flash.
