I am working on a website here: http://www.pacificx.net/

I need a simple way to lay out the content boxes. Any suggestions? ... and yes that pink banner will be gone.

It will be a site advertising my web design services. (yes i know...im an amazing designer lol).

It will probably have 5 or 6 pages which will include my services (graphic design, php, eBay, general consulationt), resume, links, contact, request quote, and portfolio. Havent really decided.. but somethign along the lines of that.

I'm not the best, but I think you should make 2 columns in your content area, the left one navigation, the right being content..Or you should make a horizontal navigation

I would say make a nice, stylish vertical banner for each page. For example, for portfolio, I would take a pen tool and draw a custom shape and then place a part of one of my arts/graphics in it and blend it nicely with the background. I would position that vertical banner on the left and have the content on the right. And between the content and vertical banner, I would have a little 1 pixel spacer, or maybe another, stylish spacer.. Anyway I hope you get the idea... And btw, make fps a bit more, coz I think it doesnt look good, the way the links move now.

:-/ Am I the only 1 that thinks it looks nice?

I think that the colours o well together all accept the navigation buttons which I think should be a lighter color.
