I recently redesigned my website with a much more colorful approach. Please tell me what you think.

Wow.. Thats very nice and clean.. I particularly like the pink/redish leaves on the left, brings out the colour of the whole layout..

The layout of the text is very nice also.. All in all it is a very nice website layout..

Good Job my friend ;) :D

EDIT: I thought the nav went really well with the layout.. It would have looked odd having pink buttons (or a shade of pink) on pink background? I think its done very nicely.

EDIT 2: The Copyright bar needs to bea little lighter.. and maybe a change of colour in the copyright bar (Didnt notice that Danny :D)

Very nice but I would have to agree with Danny, I don't think the navigation and copyright flows with this site. Other than that its very nice and clean, good job.

Yeah, I think It's ok to do it in the logo and the plant does look really good with those colours etc, but on the navigation and copyright bar It seems very unusual.

Thanks for all of your constructive feedback!
One more question... how do you think I could get the navigation and copyright to flow with the site?

Thanks,

Joey

by removing the pink opaque bar underneath it. and by turning each "button" into it's own seperate rounded rectiangle :P make them pink on the inactive state and if you know how, green on hover... ohhh yeaaaa! :D

i like it but i think the navigation bar should have a rollover and the copyright bar doesnt really fit in.

have the copyright bar set at 4 pixels in height then under it in simple dark grey text add your copyright.

images on rollover are a problem
javascript or CSS mess up
belive me, chnaging the background image is a giant problem

Well, I changed the copyright bar to match the green of the navigation. I think I will experiment with rollovers on the navigation. Is there an easy way to do this with CSS?

Thanks,

Joey

you really should set it to 4 pixels and have in lightish grey the copyright..

A client isnt interested in your copyright and extra repeated navigation.. so why make it so obvious?
