Hey all I was wondering dose anyone know how to make some curve designs like on http://www.cosmo-des.../main/index.php on his banner i got a great idea for a layout but i cant figure out how to make nice curves like that and i tried to contact the webmaster for the site about it but never got a reply so if anyone know please help me out

Ahhh, I've always wondered how people make curved techy desigs like that, I think it's just careful semtrical attention to the pen tool.

I know someone who does stuff like that and uses only Macromedia Fireworks....

You can do it in any program, but you must have patience and some skill with the app.

of course, the pen tool just make half the site. merge it onto one layer, duplicate it and then flip it horizontally!

The lighting and shadows are amazing tho...I wish I could do that...

http://www.mished.net has some nice tutorials for styles like that. Though they do require quite a bit of brushing.

Do you know of any good tutorials for pen tool cuz its a pain in the arse when you are using a track ball i can make some nice layouts but i want to move them up a notch i realy need to get a drawing tablet but I got a baby on the way and im only geting 14 hours a week at my job right now so its killing me to spend on a drawing tablet or anything on my self atm so im trying to get as much deisgn jobs as i can and i got a great idea for a layout but need to learn how to do this effect before i can make it
