I just saw it tonight and I thought it was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. I along with my friends and the everyone in the theatre were cracking up within the first five minutes. But what I really liked about it was that it was not just a straight up comedy, the movie also included action as well as suspensful scenes, seperating it from most comical movies, such as Wedding Crashers (which was still very good) but which solely focueses on comedy. I also must say that yes, the movie is really really really funny, I guarantee you will laugh, the jokes are great.
Also, I liked how it kept switching from French to English and how the amount of French Quebecois Swearing was the most I have ever heard in the span of 2 hours (also quite hilarious).
I think that one point in the plot was a little underdevelopped (not going to say more) but I still think the entire movie overall was fantastic!
So to those who have not yet seen it, I highly recommend it!
I'm not completely sure but I don't know if it is playing outside of Canada...if it isn't, then many of you are missing out!

Dan posted on this awhile back. Is it playing outside of Montreal as I've heard nothing over here.

It's the first fully bilingual movie ever released in Canada... you MUST understand french and english to be able to appreciate it. It's basically about a murder that takes place on the provincial border between Quebec (french speaking province) and Ontario (english speaking) and a cop from each province get together to try and solve it. (the murder victim is literally on top of the sign that says "You are now leaving Quebec, Welcome to Ontario LOL!) Bear in mind these two provinces pretty much despise each other and have huge pre-conceived notions about the other. I live in Quebec and I used to live in Ontario, so for me, this movie is going to be HILARIOUS!
Doubt you'll see it in the US, but in Canada it'll do VERY well.

Yep, french is my first language actually. I speak both english and french without much of an accent but my written french is horrible because i never use it anymore.
As for the Rodeo, no clue lol!
