Very simple background, but It kind of goes with the style of sig. Like the effect burshing around the render.

i would download a few fonts...possibly from dafont.com or acidfonts.com

maybe the actual spiderman theme font would do nicely...

add a nice text and go to blending options and give it a good inner shadow as well as a drop shadow...

give it a nice outer glow...possibly blue or red...and MAYBE...im not sure but maybe a bevel and emboss would look nice on it as well...

That looks good without text. Maybe add some kind of small text like verdana or arial size 9pt without any style?

The font color of "Spiderman" changed would be an improvement...

You shouldent smudge him like that and if you are going to overlay it or somthing.. and if you are going to do that.. dont even smudge.. just duplicate layer and motion blue the first one. then duplicate it twice..

err, didnt see your second one.. You may wanna use the leave tool or somthing for somthing like that? you need to work on text alittle bit though.
