Hello everbody,
Just found this website and I was hoping someone could help me.

I have lost my painting abilites in Photo-Paint. When I click on the paint tool, everything seems OK; I can select the brush type, size, etc, but when I drag the brush, nothing shows up. I've played with the transparency, and it doesn't seem to help. I'm sure it's just something simple like a setting somewhere, but it's driving me crazy!!

Any help is appreciated

Thanks!

Are you trying to paint on a layer that is locked? There's a button at the bottom of your Objects docker called "Lock Object Transparency". See if that is pressed inward.

Thanks for the reply Jacorre but, no the layers are not locked. I'm just a beginner with Corel, but I' ve always been able to airbrush over objects when I wanted to. But I can't airbrush, pencil, marker, or anything. It's just like I'm painting clear. It's driving me crazy. I'm almost to the point of reinstalling the software.

Thanks again.
