I tried searching for the answer to this as i'm sure it's been beating to death but I wasn't able to come up with an answer. I'm probably incorrectly, sorry.

Anyway. I have a message in my forum inbox, however under the "Welcome xis" message it shows that I have 0 messages in my inbox.

Is this a known bug I should just ignore for now or have I been ?

The number shows the amount of new messages you have. If you have say...23 messages in your inbox, and you have read 21 of those messages, then it will say Inbox (2)

That makes perfect sense. I'll be right back after I'm done head in for not figuring that out.
