pretty nice, though I'd like to see some rollover on the bottons perhaps. Always a nice touch.

I think you need some rolovers and you must learn how to use tricks of background images using 1px width or height (your choice).
also, it's too plain and you need more colors

More a big issue in your coding, the black background buttons and 1 pixel borders are image based and some not even bakgrounds, it seems pointless to make your site so uncompatible with future broswers or even current ones and slow it dow needlesly when you have such a simple design. when it would be as easy or easier to add a dash of css in somewere, and make the site flow more dynamic, easier to run and overall more compatible with everything. dont use rollover images on your nav infact dont use any images just use things like a:hover.

Its nice, since the site is quite dark the banners should be quite colourful but still in keeping, and some form of effect or roll over would go nicely on the buttons.

I think the masthead can be smaller in height. I'm looking at it in 1024x768 and it taking up a lot of my screen space. If you have large content, I would have to do a lot of scrolling to read it. You might want to decrease the size of the nav bar and fonts in the nav menus as well. Just a suggestion.

Im on 1024 768 also, i wanted the "In ya' Face" Banner.. also, the content is iFrame :D So no scrolling lol..
I was going to go for PHP coding but i really didnt have the time, my portfolio is one of many of my projects..

nice start add some more color. and at 800 600 it doenst fit so if its gonna be small it should fit.
