At the end of this year I am planning on switching to Media Temple because this is getting ridicules... I have not been able to upload off and on for almost a month and the server has been going down...

Lol P2LHosting.com *Buys Domain* :D

Could be a good idea.. but pretty pointless because it just means more pressure on Dan lol.. Why dont all you guys who are complaining about ServerSeed put your heads together and make your own Hosting site? Buy a nice dedicated server which you all chip in for a month.. be nice and cheap and you can all make money aswell :D Simple..

But on a more serious note, have you tried http://www.gisol.com/ - Ive only heard great things.. If you sign up before 21 hours (from now) you get 15GB, Free domain, 6 Months free and unlimited bandwidt just for $5.95 a month..

Hope this is of some help.

If I knew more about linux based hosting, I probably would, but atm that's not even a remote interest lol!

At the moment I am taking bids from ahosting.biz and server4sale.com... both are companies that were recommended to me.

By the way, for those of you moving, you might want to transfer your domain name from enom to another company... I use godaddy for my domain management, but you can use whoever you like. If you registered your domain with serverseed, then you're hosted with enom and won't be able to change your nameservers... so get the transfer going... it's takes a few days to complete.

yeah I would reccomend namecheap.com for domains is fast, painless and no hassle. When you purchase your domains they are active on the spot and there is no waiting period. Best of all you can pay with paypal and dont require a creditcard! Also if you ever go to sell the domain its a free push to a differnt users account!

I also bought 5 domains last night with godaddy... just look over those options they try to sell you.. ensure that none of them are checked and move on to the payment process..

Come on.. everyone which is around the web a bit should know what they really need ;)

i also use namecheap, fast, easy and cheap, id recommend it to anyone ;)

Im looking for some hosting aswell lately, ive been keeping an eye on media temple and dreamhost, media-temple seems to be reliable but a bit on the expensive side, dreamhost... i dunno, it just seems too good to be true, theres gotta be a major catch...

o and dan, are you moving p2l to a diff. server?

Yes, I'm moving to a new dedicated box with www.server4sale.com ;) I purchased a fully managed solution with them this afternoon.

I've been unable to get a sign of life from Serverseed in 3 weeks.. I think people are bailing out as quick as they can before things start getting unplugged.
