When starting a new site do you think its better to release it as fast as possible with less features, or release it once it has all the features your planning on adding?

Depends on the type of site it is and it's purpose.

I would suggest release all at once, to tell the truth I have gone to really nice sites that dont have all features up, and you keep checking and checking, the features get held back or dont come out soon, and eventually you(the visitor) forget about the site. Well thats what happens to me when I visit a site not fully featured.

Yeh, Donna got it in one,

If it was just a general site I would say realease it when It's completly finished so that people don't come and look at the bugs and glitches while your adding new stuff. It's unproffessinal and makes a stain on your website popularity.

But say it was a game or somthing, you would say that all the features are in BETA stages so that people don't mind the bugs and that.

well look at it this way. You release a new site, you have tonnes and tonnes of different features, and lets say one of them is a forum, when you open you won't have many members, so it can look stupid to have all these features for a site with not many members.

I would say its better to start off small, and as the user base grows then you increase the features and attract more people in.
