Hey!
hope you know how to solve this problem! :)
______

Yesterday I realized that when I try to make a New document thats transparent I get "Layer 1"...
but it supposed to give me "Background" :D
The problem is, then when you try to get a render into the signature your working with, the render just merge with the layer your active in..Normally it should do its own layer..

Then I tried to make a New Document that got a White background then it worked out perfectly. ;)

I dont know whats wrong, I´ve tried to uninstall and install again, but it dont work.

Any Settings I need to handle with or what can it be?

desperat need of help on this one!!

I dont know that the problem is supposed to be? When you make a nwe doc with a transparent BG you always get a empty layer 1 to start of with. If you need to import a render image into your document just create a new layer and paste it there. I think you are trying to do to many things on the same layer m8, spread your stuff out over multiple ones.

I beleve it makes its own layer automaticly when you try to paste it into a layer that isnt empty and/or locked as a white "background" layer is. I havnt researched it....

You'll only get the locked 'Background' layer when you start out with a colored background. Otherwise, you'll just get 'Layer 1' with a transparent background.

When pasting things onto your document, it will only automatically create a layer when there's already something on it. If it's empty, then your pasted object will appear on that empty layer.

Yep,
and since you can always add layers above AND underneath the "layer 1" layer there is no problem whatsoever.

But if you are addicted to the "backgroundlayer" (which is locked, hence the italic and padlock), jus whenever you feel like it or get the urge... just press "flatten layers" and you'll get your nice background layer back :D
