I'm going to have to say the image is too dark... I can't even really make it out. Is that a gun in it's hand or something? I definitely think you need to get an image that's brighter and more defined.

By the way, you may want to seriously consider not using a splash screen. One of the most annoying things in the history of webdesign - just as an FYI.

I like the text though... I think a better image would be a huge improvement.

thanks, i dont like the idea of splash pages to, but this is for a friends site. >.<
and i think if you played the game tyou would know what the thing in her hand is automatically(hence why i dint bother with defining it too much) , but i can see were your coming from. thanks.
