Was wondering how to do a rollover effect on a button i make in Photoshop?

Make the effect yourself, (f.ex let it glow) on a seperate layer which you make invisible.
Then jump into imageready and click an "image based slice" (or slice it yourself with knife tool)
then select that slice and click on "make new button state" r something and when it is selected activate your new layer.
This is the short version sry bout that, hope you understand a word of what i am saying. Havent got any time ftm.
