im new with 3d max... im currently modelling a mini cooper, although the blueprint images that i have put on the projection planes seem to be extremely blurry.

but when i open it at school, i dont have this problem. the blueprints appear to be clear.

so i was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this. maybe in the settings or something because when i render it, it looks clear too.

It will obviously look clearer when you render it, and all blueprints are blurry (to my knowing) you can make them a bit better by :

Click "Customize"
Select "Preferences"
Then "Viewports"

Under "Display Drivers" click "configure drivers"

Then under "Download Texture Size" select 512
You have to restart max tho.

p.s about the school thing maybe it has something to do with the screen resolution or so on. ;)

Well you can do Fit to Bitmap in the viewport settings which will give it the actuall size - though you placed it on a plane.

I guess Im answering the wrong Q here, I think it will always be blurry when you zoom
