9/11 none of us will ever forget I know I cannot, lets never. :)

On September 11, 2001, four U.S. planes hijacked by terrorists crashed into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania killing nearly 3,000 people in a matter of hours. Behind the staggering number of deaths are the individuals, each of whom left behind family, friends and co-workers who feel the national tragedy on a personal level.

CNN.com has established this site as an evolving record of those who died and a place for readers to build a living memorial for them.

We ask no member to mock or ridicule this thread in anyway please, this is not about war & politics its to remember all those precious lives (2,749) that were taken http://edition.cnn.c.../lists/by-name/ and the families that were left behind.

Good morning america had a special a few years ago on the children left behind from this horrific act, and just recently they aired an updated special on them and how they've grown up. I have to say it was pretty heart wrenching to realize that most of the youngest ones are at, or close to reaching the age where they'll start to grasp what actually happened to their loved one's. I personally can't even imagine trying to explain it, and my heart goes out their loved ones left.

I just truely hope that they can all find peace in themselves one day, and possibly bring some positive meaning to their life from the whole life altering ordeal.

I'd have to agree with you there... I mean, people may think it's easy but it isn't for most people. If this had happened to me - me being only 15 at the moment - back then... I guess you could almost put it as 'speechless'.

It was a sad day. I remember I was at work when I first heard of it, and I almost couldn't believe what was going on. My heart goes out to all those families that lost loved ones that day.

Regards,

Jason

I think I will never forget that day. I was at home with my cousin, and when we saw the news we were shocked.
All my condolences to the families, friends and all people who lost their beloved friends and relatives that day.

I was too young to understand what happened, Didnt realize what was going on until that day I went to school and they explained more. I felt terible. Why does this thing had to happen to inocent victims? Damn it!
Anyway, I Give Honor to all the inocent people who had to suffer that horible disaster.

I remember that day vividly although I wish it was only a dream. We lost one employee where I work, she was on a business trip. God bless all the families out there who were affected by this tragedy. I hope that someday this world will find peace.

Prayers to all the families affected by this tragedy and I will never forget this either. I remember driving in to work just as they broke in with the news on the Radio that a plane was reported to have hit the first tower. I got in to work about 5 minutes later and the entire staff spent the day open mouthed in front of the TV.

God bless.

By the way, just a warning that if anyone turns this into a conspiracy debate, they will be suspended on the spot, no questions asked. Don't test me on this one.

Heh, funny actually, i have an extremely poor memory for remembering days etc but i remember coming home and turning on the TV and just watching it for hours.

Prayers and remembered to all who were and still are affected.

Having since been in just about every country since with the exception of a handfull this is one of the single most remembered events for our time sadly. In just about everywhere in the world if you ask anyone where they where 9 out of 10 people will remember, even folks who have a hard time remembering what they may have had for dinner the night before.

Thanks much for making it clear again, as z77 might be able to atest if he saw my post over on greycobra, having been there sorting through rubble as well as being in the military for the last ten years dealing with it on a day to day basis still it's a very touchy subject indeed.
